BMW 6 Series 50 Jahre M Edition launched at Rs. 72.90 lakh

BMW has launched the 50 Jahre M Edition of the 6 Series in India. The car is based on the 630i variant and is priced at Rs 72.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 6 Series 50 Jahre M Edition has been introduced to celebrate 50 years of the BMW M division. It comes with a special 'M' emblem inspired by the classic BMW Motorsport logo. Customers can choose between the M Accessories Package and the Motorsport Pack, which includes a gloss black kidney grille, carbon fibre key fob and 19-inch M light-alloy wheels finished in Jet Black.

Inside, the 6 Series 50 Jahre M Edition comes with Natural Leather Dakota upholstery and M seatbelts.

Powering the 6 Series is a 2.0-litre twin-turbo petrol engine that makes 258 BHP and 400 Nm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to the M embellishments, I am told this also regains some features that were deleted from 630i M sport, post launch. These include Laser lights and soft close doors. No 360 camera though.

Got the delivery of 630i Jahre, 15 days back.

Did one long drive already and so far I am really glad with my choice, and not only is it comfortable for other passengers but it can also perform well.

Also if anyone is wondering it is doing great over the speed breakers and potholes in Mumbai.

Congrats Tirth. I booked the same car but not the Jahre edition as they were sold out. Any suggestions on what to install after delivery?

Also what’s the Fuel economy like?

Hey,

So I have not installed anything at the moment. I have just put my firestick in it, to watch netflix.

And the fuel economy is around 8-9 kmpl in city and around 12 on highways.
