As yours is an out of state registered car, there are high chances of it being flagged. During GRAP-4, only BS-6 cars, CNG and EVs are allowed to enter and ply in Delhi-NCR.

During stage-3 of GRAP, BS-4 petrol cars are allowed in addition to the type of vehicles mentioned above.

School Vacations pre-poned - another stupid illogical decision without any afterthought about what the parents are supposed to do in this knee-jerk reaction.

Delhi Govt bans app-based taxis from other states.

There is a limit to which regulations work. Like it or not, right or wrong, excess of adhoc regulations leads to only one result - showing middle finger to the regulation itself. People will find a way to drive their cars. Be it driving at night or odd hours, locals knowing which check points of police or novel communication methods to evade police.

When various Govt agencies work they do not look at problems in a holistic manner and also don't take an environmental or sustainable view. When the current strain of paddy was introduced by the Govt why did they not take the total cost of production of paddy including pollution free disposal of the stubble. Also they did not take the total cycle into consideration so now there is very little time to remove the stubble before planting the next crop. Ergo farmers burn the stubble. No sustainable view taken.

It can ply but expect to be stopped a lot. My dad was stopped in Ecosport (BS4 petrol) 4 times on the same day.

Diesel-powered medium and heavy goods vehicles have also been prohibited under the revised restrictions. Vehicles transporting essential goods and services though will be exempt from this rule.

According to a government official, 40 enforcement teams have been deployed in the border areas from 8 pm to 4 am. Teams are also checking overloaded trucks, interstate buses, and pollution certificates, while also monitoring congestion.

The transport department is issuing challans for violating pollution norms, which includes a fine of Rs 10,000. As per reports, 28,471 fines have been issued against vehicles under GRAP-I, II and III already.

What a stupid rule. A lot of state run buses are BS 4. This will cause more problem to general public who use state run buses and they have to go through Delhi.

No state run bus or any other bus needs to travel through Delhi to get anywhere. They have to use the Peripheral Expressway. Only buses destined for Delhi can enter Delhi.

An attempt to kill a dinosaur by throwing peanuts on it! There is no strategy, no stats, no plan, just ban!

The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR has revoked the GRAP stage 4 as the AQI has come down from the cutoff for implementation of GRAP stage 4 which is >450. It can again be implemented if AQI goes up.
