I have an i20 from 2015, and the emission norms are written as Euro 2. Just for my understanding, what is this equivalent to? BS2 or BS4?

Euro 2 is equivalent to BS2.
A 2015 manufactured car has to be BS4. Pls download your vehicle’s RC from the mParivahan app, the correct emission norm will be mentioned there.

I checked the mParivahan app as well, it says Euro 2. Not sure what to do the next time GRAP Stage 4 comes again.
I have just returned to Delhi after 9 days.
Looks like the GRAP 4 restrictions have been lifted now. Can we drive BS4 diesels in Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad or were they banned under GRAP 3?

BS4 private diesel cars (LMVs) remain banned under GRAP 3. However, ban on construction as well as restriction on BS4 trucks should get lifted. That directly affects tens on thousands of livelihoods and comes under GRAP 4 only.

The ban on bs4 diesel cars was supposed to be till 20th Nov which is today right?
Any news if it's getting lifted or extended?

saw vehicles being issued challans on the DND and then again on aurbindo marg on my way to work right now. I would continue to exercise caution till there is definite news of the ban getting lifted.
The AQI in Delhi has been below 400 for the past few days. In fact, for most of the time, it has been in the lower 300's even. As per the GARP policy, the level III restrictions should have been lifted once the AQI fell below 400.
However, our babus and politicians continue to harass and inconvenience the honest tax payers. It is almost 3 weeks and the ban on Diesel BS IV vehicles continue. Level III is still in place. These guys are never able to address the root cause of the problem. Instead, they continue with knee jerk reactions which inconveniences the ordinary people on the streets.
Shame on these politicians and babus.

You might want to read up on the acceptable AQI levels for human beings.

If you go by the acceptable levels, then all activities - everything in Delhi NCR should be banned. Not only in Delhi, all activities in all major Indian cities need to be banned and everyone should stay at home with air purifies running.
My observation is on the policy and what the policy restricts based on the AQI levels.
That the whole policy is wrong and the root cause is not being addressed in another discussion altogether.

Yes, the ban is still in place. It was explicitly told that GARP III is still in force and the ban on BS IV diesel cars and BS III petrol cars is still in effect.
The AQI has been hovering in the high 200's and low 300's for the last few days. For a few hours in the evening and early morning, it does rise to the high 300's. Hopefully, this restriction will be removed soon.

Just to be sure, I checked again. It still shows Euro 2. Have I been cheated by the dealer back in 2015 about the emissions standard or am I missing something here?

I think this is a data entry mistake. BS4 was mandatory back in 2015, just like how BS6 is today.

The ban in Delhi and NCR Towns is still in force. In Delhi it was enforced '
till further orders'. Please refer to the pdf attachment.
grap_order.pdf
In Faridabad and Gurgaon, it will remain in force till Nov 30 or till Stage III restrictions are in place, whichever is earlier. Here's link to the
news article.
