Toyota and bosch working on a new car

Picked this up from a friend at a briefing of BOSCH at their annual international automotive Press briefing.

Toyota is working at a car with bosch and their aim is to price it lower than the renault logan.Now since the renault logan is being put up as the benchmark I have a feeling that it is a sedan[though not confirmed].About time we had some action from toyota india.

Since the following has been posted on the net am posting it on team-bhp as well.

R-LOGON BENCH MARK ?
Toyota is working on a Hatchback and on a sedan with diesel and Petrol Options. Toyota will be Bmarking Swifts and SX4.

They already have the Echo and Yaris sedans.

Yes there is a hatch for sure as well,but my hunch is the tata indica is what toyota is going after.The pricing is one of their biggest challenge.

The older echo has/is being replaced worldwide by their yaris/vios sedan which works out to be more costly than the honda city in India.

Toyota may also launch small cars with auto transmission and hybrid to have its own market to sell.

I think it is the Swift and Skoda Fabia They're after. Competing with Indica would be a bit difficult in price.
But with Toyota, anything is possible and nothing is very surely predictable.
