Santa Fe to be launched this year?

i noticed yesterday the cover story of one of the auto mags (can recollect the name) mentioning that their breaking story was that Santa Fe was going to be launched later this year. Anyone has more info or heard about this?

Terracan is absolute. Tuscon is already costing more than 17 OTR. Santa Fe, where they want to put this in? It looks huge and american and almost sure it is going to be in CBU route and should cost not less than 20+l OTR. Who wants to buy a Hyundai for 20L!? Better they should concentrate on bringing out Getz CRDi and Pa stuff as quick as possible. May be a 2l petrol Tucson around 12lakhs also should do enough to compete with GV.

The Terracan is ...err..CANNED.

The new Santa Fe is the replacement for it and is a proper 7 seater. Bloody good vehicle too - if it comes with the 3.3 or 3.8 litre V6. IMHO it is worth 20 lakhs plus if you consider the other vehicles available in that range.

Far better VFM than a certain fully loaded Mitsubishi Montero for 34 lakhs, which has been pronounced by certain people on this forum as the vehicle they would like to own.
