| Volkswagen Group ordered to pay Rs.60 lakhs plus costs to owner of Audi Q7
Although the Volkswagen Group has got away many a time with deficiencies in service and product quality, this appears to be one where they’ve been hit.
No doubt there would be appeals and it does look like its taken some time. Quote:
The Tamilnadu Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum has asked Volkswagen Group to refund the owner Rs.60 lakhs towards the entire cost of an Audi Q7 plus Rs.25,000 in costs.

The owner of the Q7 had approached the court after his Q7 has repeated brake problems since 2014.
The vehicle continued to suffer problems after the owner got the car serviced for 2.4 lakhs.
Unable to rectify the issue the court ordered the payment by the Volkswagen Group.
