Here is a look at all the important car launches expected to take place in February 2023.

Audi Q3 Sportback

Audi India has announced the launch of the Q3 Sportback. The SUV is priced at Rs 51.43 lakh (ex-showroom), which is about Rs 1 lakh more than the Q3 Technology trim.

Powering the Q3 Sportback is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 187 BHP and 320 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and the Quattro all-wheel drive system.

Citroen has started accepting bookings for its first all-electric offering in India, the eC3. The EV is available in two variants: Live and Feel, and can be ordered by paying a token amount of Rs. 25,000. The Citroen eC3 is the all-electric version of the C3 crossover.

The eC3 uses a 29.2 kWh battery pack, offering an ARAI-certified range of 320 km. It powers a front-mounted electric motor that develops 56 BHP and 143 Nm. The car can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 107 km/h.

Jeep has announced the launch of the Compass and Meridian Club Editions. These limited edition SUVs are priced at Rs 20.99 lakh and Rs 27.75 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The Club Edition is based on the entry-level Sport trim of the Compass and the Limited trim of the Meridian.

Hyundai has announced the launch of the Creta and Alcazar for the 2023 model year. The updated SUVs now come with a host of active and passive safety features as standard.

Hyundai has also updated its engine line-up with RDE-compliant powertrains. The Creta is offered with a choice of 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines, while the Alcazar comes with 2.0-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options.

Hyundai has also updated the Venue for the 2023 model year. Besides a revised features list, the compact SUV now comes with the same 1.5-litre diesel engine that powers the Creta.

2023 Maruti Suzuki Tour S

Maruti Suzuki has announced the launch of the 2023 Tour S aimed at the fleet market. The petrol version is priced at Rs 6.51 lakh, while the CNG version costs Rs 7.36 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Tour S is powered by a 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine that produces 89 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. When running on CNG, the engine output drops to 76 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 98.5 Nm @ 4,300 rpm. Maruti claims a fuel efficiency of 23.15 km/l. The S-CNG version is said to be 21% more efficient than the outgoing model.

Renault has announced the launch of its 2023 model range, which includes the updated Kiger, Triber and Kwid.

Renault’s 2023 model line-up comes with updated engines that comply with BS6 Step 2 emission norms. In addition to catalytic converters and oxygen sensors, the cars are equipped with a self-diagnostic device, which constantly monitors the vehicle’s emission levels while driving.

Tata Motors has launched its BS6 Phase II range of passenger vehicles, featuring RDE and E20-compliant petrol, diesel and CNG powertrains.

The Altroz and Nexon are available with upgraded Revotorq diesel engines that are said to be more responsive. Tata claims the Nexon’s 1.5-litre diesel has been retuned for better performance.
