In Elantra's safety demonstration, the forces differ when in motion compared to those at rest. Seven cars stacked upon each other while stationary produce different forces from a car falling from a height onto a resting car. Just one falling car is enough to destroy the structure of the stationary car.

In real-world applications, what do you think is a better demonstrator of safety, testing while the cars are in motion or testing while the cars are at rest?
