Tata Curvv mid-size SUV rumoured to get CNG option

Recent design sketches of the Tata Curvv have revealed some interesting details of the upcoming mid-size SUV.

An image released by Tata Motors showcases the centre console of the Curvv, featuring the new automatic climate control module. It has several haptic buttons, but one particular switch, marked 'CNG', has caught everyone's attention.

Does this mean that the production-spec Curvv will come with a CNG option? Well, if it does then, the SUV could get Tata's twin-cylinder CNG technology that helps free up luggage space. Tata has already confirmed that the Curvv will be offered with ICE and electric powertrains. However, there is no word on the SUV getting a CNG option.

As per the image, the Tata Curvv could also get features like a 360-degree camera, auto park assist, and dual-zone automatic climate control, among others.

Personally speaking, I find the name is confused in itself. It's neither "First" nor "Fresh". Lying somewhere in between, "Frest". Sounds like someone who is unable to pronounce "First" correctly.
Curvv sounded so much better and upmarket, just like Gravitas and most of other Code names from TATA!
But that's just my opinion. Sorry if it did not make too much sense!

I somehow think that this maybe the name of the 4.2 meter elongated Nexon rather than the Curvv. Because this is the model that will be launched much earlier than Curvv and is in the making. This may replace the Nexon EV MAX.

Seems to be the hard work of the same crack marketing team at Tata which came up with gems like Tata Zica (later renamed to Tiago)

Maybe Tata should go back to the strategy of coming up with a shortlist of names and getting customers to vote for the one they like.

Curvv is the elongated version of Nexon.
