MUL's new model !!

guys,

have this unconfirmed news ...that muls new model slated for a launch in 2005 is the liana hatchback (the esteem sized zen design i was informed ) hehe .

seems like mul wants to take on the getz ?

engine options include the esteem 1.3 and the baleno 1.6 ltr power plants.

can anyone confirm this ??

i will try and get some info from mul.

Liana with a 1.6 . Wow. That'll really prove too hot for the Palio 1.6 and the Getz.

But I doubt MUL will get the Liana hatchback. If they were to replace the Zen with the Liana, they wouldnt have given it a facelift. MUL might get replace the Esteem with the Liana sedan. Reason being that the Esteem hasnt recd much of a facelift except for the grille. So out goes Esteem and in comes Liana.

Pleasant news NC....looks like you have been meeting some insiders from the auto industry of late!

I do hope the Liana alongwith some contemporary products from suzuki enter the market soon....Most of their models (800, Zen, Esteem, Baleno, Omni) are too darned out dated and getting to be a little long in the tooth now

yeah gto,

we keep having visits from delegates of the auto industry. we are in the industry as oem suppliers for mul,ford,hero honda , tvs,kinetic,denso kirloskar,pricol,honda seil et all...

so i keep getting some info when i meet a petrol head like me from their end..
