I agree Punch EV might be very interesting if it launches before deliveries begin and not to mention if XUV300 facelift gives any surprise announcement by then.

I would take the dealer's info with a pinch of salt. Thet are either misinformed or are looking to cash in at every opportunity that they see.

And yes! I completely forgot about the upcoming XUV300 facelift! Given the fact that the current version is still doing so well, in itself is a testament that people would be eagerly waiting for one.

Man! The sub 4m SUV segment is all eating up!

I'm infact eager to see what TATA has to offer with the Punch EV that is scheduled to launch on 21st Dec. THIS by far is the most anticipated EV from TATA stable.

That's very much true, but as of now we have to go with it Indeed waiting on both Punch EV and XUV300 and see if they make a better case than Sonet at the moment, for now < 15L on-road in Bengaluru this is the best option vs Venue/Nexon/Brezza.

I noticed two discrepancies on the KIA website regarding the highlighted features, which appear to be missing under the HTX in the clumsy brochure. Does HTX really have these two features? I doubt.

The specs on this website too isn’t accurate. Forget this, even the earlier one (pre-facelift) had quite a few errors even after 3 years of launch.

God knows who does the proof-reading of this website content.

Does anyone know what is the cost for 5year extended warranty and 5 year maintenance package for existing Sonet? Like Hyundai Venue will be 20k combined for both together, is it similar or significantly higher in case of Kia Sonet?

Kia Sonet facelift bookings to open on December 20 at midnight

Kia India is set to open bookings for the Sonet facelift on December 20, from midnight onwards. Customers can place their orders on the official website, via the smartphone app or at an authorized dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000.



Kia India also reintroduced the 'K-Code' priority booking initiative to skip the waiting queue. Customers can avail of the K-Code from any existing Kia customer, which can be used for booking through the Kia India website and the 'MyKia' app and is valid only for December 20, 2023, starting from 12 AM to 11:59 PM.

The 2024 Kia Sonet gets several cosmetic updates and new features. It is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new air-conditioning module, a voice-controlled window function, ventilated front seats, rear door sunshades, an air purifier and Level 1 ADAS.

Mechanically, the updated Sonet is identical to the outgoing version. It carries forward the existing 1.2-litre petrol mated with a 5-speed manual, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, which comes with either a 6-speed iMT or 7-speed DCT and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that is offered with a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and 6-speed automatic.

Deliveries of the Sonet facelift will commence in January 2024, except for the Diesel iMT variants, which are scheduled for February 2024.

Somehow Kia is losing steam on the SONET FL launch. Given their aggressive strategy (which was seen during the Seltos FL launch), they are moving pretty slow with the Sonet FL. I was infact expecting a price reveal in December itself and deliveries to commence in early January. But seems like they have different plans.

According to the dealer the Sonet is expected for price reveal during 15th Jan.
This could be wrong but I assume this will be before Creta launch for sure.

Got a call from my SA today that pricing should be available around end of next week, but the chances of getting a delivery in Jan is unlikely, which is a bummer! No word on even getting eyes on a showroom model.
