Shocking!!!!

guys,

was going thru the sunday midday and found an article with the headlines...

DEAD CATTLE ON EXPRESSWAY CAUSE SEVERAL ACCIDENTS

it seems there were carcass of a couple of dead buffaloes on the expressway and 8-9 cars banged into them causing injury to the drivers and passengers.

when the officials were asked the reply was .. we have fencing on the sides so we dont know how the cattle got on to the expressway !! [img]http://www.team-bhp.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/***.gif[/img]

the report says that the carcass was lying for more than an hour on the expressway..

i mean this is amazing ....the officials as always wash their hands off but more surprising is the non-involvement of the people travelling on the expressway.

anyone cud have just stopped for a moment and used the emergency phone booth to inform the concerned people but no one did !!!!

is there no respect for other peoples lives and misery ?? y dont people understand even they mite someday be in a situation like dat.

its a very sad comment on the attitude of the people here ..

Its really scary!! C'mon, its an Expressway, there shouldn't be any obstruction on the road.

yeah read that article.....
real sad....
the last time i heard of something like this was when a bus hit a cow in a highway and if fell on a lancer breaking its grill ......
anyway i heard that one guy got seriously injured....
wish the had taken pics of the cars which were banged....
man the expressway is just not safe...
comeon no one is willin to pay a toll for one of teh best roads in india for speeders but has dead cattle and potholes and landslides happenin to it ....
anyway the blame game will continue for another couple of days regarding all this as usual

but how did the buffaloes land there.did they commit suicide or wat?

?.
really feel sorry for those poor guys who were caught in it.
also if at all the cattle were there,this cud have been averted if anyone who had passed by that spot had either alerted at the toll booth or maybe used the emergency phones.

The people who didn't make that important phone call to raise the alarm may be indifferent, but, what were the Patrol guys doing? Aren't they supposed to ensure the safety of the expressway users?

Yeah.....absolute shock.I also read sumwhere that one of the Ministers got severely injured in the accident too......
Way to go India.
