Things sure couldnt have gotten tougher for toyota. And in a good way.

After all the hue and cry over teh Tavera stealing its limelight...slam - Nothing happened. Qualis sales actually went up over the period. And for good reason too. Most of us will agree that beside the looks, the Qualis is a great performer and Toyota sure as hell got their first product right. In addition, launching an outdated design and selling it at a premium price has them laughing all the way to the bank.

But would semi-urban and rural buyers see the Innova the same way they did the Qualis?

Toyota actually needs a new car in the market soon.Qualis has been overshadowed by the Tavera.Camry aint doin all that well either,as we discussed earlier.
Corolla is single handedly doin the job in India.
So IMO its a good move.
Cya.

Innova is not that bad looking i think..but i dont know qualis was a waste in my opinion, but ofcourse it was a great rough use car..and great for thriving BPO taxi pickup business and other long dist travel business..

innova should be nice..it looks more like a minivan than an suv...
