Supposed to happen anytime in the next 15 days. I wouldnt be surprised if Autocar and Overdrive have the test-drive in their September editions.

The launch date has been tentatively pushed to the second week of September. Despatch plans have been thrown out of gear because of the truckers strike.

Also, the pricing will be "between Santro and Accent" and this comes straight from the horse's mouth.

Source: The Hindu

Update: This Business Standard report quotes the HMIL President: "The base model of the car would be available for Rs 4.3 lakh and would go up to around Rs 5.6 lakh."

Neverclever, according to the rules of this guessing game its the lower price we are speculating about...which is 4.4L in the article...... now the only question remaining is will it be the official/mumbai price ?

Yeah I see boards all over the suburbs. Pretty dainty looking boards, but they are everywhere nonetheless.

X-Machine, I believe Bangalore is more expensive than Bombay for most cars (Taxation, transportation for some companies etc.)
