I actually believed they’ll be launching the new Generation model that is available for a few years now in International markets, until I saw the interior :Frustrati.

While pick-up trucks are not a vehicle for my usage, I always admire them on road. This includes Ghurka (Owners always get a thumbs up from me whenever I pass a Ghurka).

For me, somehow the interiors of all available pick-up trucks in India are a bit let down. After sitting in the new MuX(2023 Version) in Thailand I feel the current available variants in India are too old now design.

This is the exact feeling I had. My elation from the start of the thread died down by the time I reached the second pic. :Frustrati

While it is not setting up sales charts on fire, but with Hilux in the market and at a price point that needs breaking a bank, it could very well be a great product. But Isuzu just doesn't want to treat us with the new model at all.
Imagine the ScorpioN based pick up gets launched (if it does) sometime soon and becomes successful (in pick up truck terms), Isuzu would get enlightened that how shortsighted they were.

I have always loved the pick up truck concept and have always drooled over the Jeep Gladiator. Hilux is way off budget, Isuzu is way too agricultural for current needs, no other pickup in the offing yet. Ahh! Dreams are often just Dreams!

I suspect these teaser images were shot with 2008 model Apple iPhone 3G

How long are they going to flog this dead horse!! If not the commercial & derivative segment (10s of d-max variants including Hi-lander), they can atleast introduce new generation vehicles in the passenger segment (MU-X and V-Cross). If not end-to-end manufacturing atleast by bringing CKDs from Thailand. Its not like they would have to import huge number of kits. They anyways sell few 1000 units of MU-X + V-Cross every year.

The second pic is enough for not getting any traction. The V Cross X series availabe in Thailand is much more better looking. Don't know when OEMs will stop treating us with old age vehicles.

Yet another Just-for-the-sake-of-it facelift. The infotainment also looks too aftermarketish. The circular dial, I believe it is for the air conditioning, reminds me of the ones in the now discontinued Nissan Micra.

Is this the 2024 Isuzu V-Cross Facelift? Appears to be so based on whatever little I could make out in the teaser photo posted in the opening post above.

I believe that Facelift is an older picture circulated since it was launched in Nepal.

This looks like the present generation sold internationally. We would be probably continue getting the old generation with some chrome appliques and features. If we were really getting the latest generation, the media campaign would have been much louder.

Also this looks like from an international market seeing the truck in the background.

Thankyou for the clarification guys. I could make out that the photo is from another country and is of an Isuzu D-Max on sale there, but, since the V-Cross is based on the regular D-Max, thought that this could be the D-Max design on which the new V-Cross could be based (just like the Maruti Grand Vitara in India is based on the International Suzuki S-Cross).

Here in Nepal we get the same old d-max just like the one in India. Though we get a different engine here.

They should just pack up and leave at this point if they cannot bring current generation models.

Sick and tired of our market being treated like a stock clearance dumping ground
I know that there are government and tax factors involved but you cannot just clap with a single hand

That will leave Indians with only one option, an overpriced Hilux.

Which, then Toyota will realize has absolutely no competition; and will price it to the moon.
