Just went to look at the Fusion in the showroom. Not a bad car. Interior plastics are hard but seats were comfortable and fair amount of room inside. For a townie soft roader not a bad car - price Rs 7.2 l to Rs Rs 8.5l

The one lakh difference is for the radio/cd, alloys, better seat covers etc and ABS on the top model. My take would be to buy a basic one and add what you want. Far better value !

People compare it to the Getz - mind you it is far bigger - size and engine-wise

ford has dared not only to launch a new car but a new segement for people who need space, comfort and loads of space,i feel fusion looks good and we cant compare fusion to nhc, accent and ikon, they are saloons afterall.

Thats why it has flopped badly in Europe

BTW, if it is based on the latest Fiest, does that mean we could see a new Ikon around soon?

Nope. I'm sure they'll flog this one for at least another two years, launching a hundred "special edition" variants. But I still think the 1.6 and 1.3 rocam cars are excellent buys.

Isn't it a bit irresponsible if you are driving someone else's car without a licence ? Even if you are careful, if someone collides with you, you or the car owner do not have a leg to stand on

I have nothing against you, it s that certain rules need to be observed if we want to promote safe motoring
