Toyota has announced the launch of the Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition. It is available in the ZX (O) variant and is priced at Rs 32.58 lakh (ex-showroom).



The Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition comes with a dual-tone exterior and is available in two shades of white: Super White and Pearl White. It has a black roof, a blacked-out front grille, a rear garnish, a hood emblem, black ORVMs, wheel arch moulding, and black alloy wheels.

The MPV also gets a dual-tone interior with features such as ventilated front seats, powered Ottoman seats in the second row, dual-zone air-conditioning, a panoramic sunroof, and Toyota Safety Sense.

Based on Toyota’s TNGA platform, the Innova Hycross is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol hybrid that delivers 183 BHP and 206 Nm and is mated to an e-CVT.

The Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition will be available for a limited period from May to July 2025.

It is inspired by the Fortuner Leader edition, but the chrome on the wheel arches looks out of place.
The dual-tone treatment looks good.

Any changes to the plasticky interiors? Frankly, that is the only thing I have against otherwise superbly packaged ZX(O).

Lower variants like VX or VXo are easily available with a particular dealer in Chennai. I booked and cancelled a VXo model that was readily available 2 months back, my friend bought a VX model in less than 3 days, just last week.
My left leg hits the centre console is one quick observation I have (I am 176cms tall).

I earlier thought by dual tone interior, Toyota meant the same brown + black combination, but zooming into the press release picture the interior is in dual tone red + black similar to the Legender / Fortuner Leader Edition.

And what is Toyota’s obsession with a Matt black wrap is something I simply don’t understand! The roof will be wrapped in the same Matt material which looks and feels horrible, similar to the Camry’s Sprint Edition.

This I believe will be a Dealer based modification and not from factory, which is the case with the Camry Sprint Edition and Fortuner Leader Edition as well.

I think dealers were trying to sell aftermarket bits as compulsory to get ahead in delivery time. So Toyota must have thought to getting that money for themselves by launching this and making the folks booking this edition perhaps getting fast deliveries.

Good move to cut out bad behaviour by dealers.

unless they change the plasticky interiors everything else is gimmicky at best. I mean even the crysta had better quality plastics for a lot lesser. I think in the tie up between Toyota and maruti, the latter got the better deal. access to reliable hybrid engines while Toyota got the cheap plastics.

Hello everyone! We just completed the PDI of our new Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition.

The car was booked on May 6, 2025. The car has arrived quite early, considering we were initially given a date in September, 2025.

Here are some pictures of it, since there aren't many on the internet. Me and my family are currently out of station and the PDI was done by my uncle. I had sent him the PDI checklist from TeamBHP in advance

Some things that weren't captured in the photos:

1. The Odometer reads 8 KM. Perfect!
2. The color we have opted for is Pearl White.

Once we get the delivery, I'll make sure to update everyone with the invoice, and our experience with Toyota.

Hi, The roof is not a matt wrap. Our PDI today has confirmed it. Also, it isn't a dealer level modification; I confirmed it from them before the booking. Only the Air purifier will be installed at the dealer level, if I have been informed correctly. You can check out my post with the PDI pictures today!
