We all know that the Santro is actually nothing but the Kia Picanto and the Pa looks like it is going to based on the next Kia picanto.

Well kia have facelifted the picanto and it looks like:





So could this be the new Pa?

no its not. this one is New Kia Picanto.

I think that this car would be coming in Diwali season. Hyundai has promised to place this car in between Santro and Getz. Just as the New A5 platform Octavia (i.e. Laura in India) and A4 platform Octavia are sold in India side by side, similarly, the new Santro and present Santro will be sold side by side.

Though in the other markets, just as A5 platform Ocatavia replaced A4 platform Octavia, the new Santro will replace the present Santro.

In india 1.1 i.e. 1128cc(approx) Crdi will be avalibale

Well not cash discount but you get a 10k exchange bonus a lower interest rate and quite a lot of freebies like mp3 player with 4 speakers and if you haggle a bit also remote locking.

I wonder whether Hyundai will really do that. They may very well phase out the current Santro. Everyone expected them to carry on with the Accent as their entry level sedan once the Verna is launched. Even Hyundai gave such false soundbites in the media. However they decided to do away with it almost completely rather than selling it cheaper. We need to wait and watch...

Accent GLE (petrol) is still in production. The Viva and CRDI variants are off production though.

I recently was driving through the GQ when I found Hyundai Motors testing the Hyundai Pa which will have the 1.1L CRDi .Please manage with these phone cam, driving while shooting pics. I'll try to get the chennai photo-BHPians to shoot good pics of the Pa while driving to Yelagiri.




PS: I've spied upon the Hyundai Getz, Verna, Sonata Embera testing on the GQ.
And its usually 6 months before they are launched. So, do we see a launch date?? ;)

exterior is better then zen ,palio but wat bout the engine specifactions

I still find Spark ,much better looking then the Pa. It seriously looks confusing from all angles. Its looks as if its been fixed with bits & pieces from different cars . Except front grill & headlight ,nothing else matches the overall body. Kind off WACKY???:Frustrati
