Some of the Pictures suggest that what we will be getting is nothing but a Kia Picanto...

I hope we get the latest new gen Santro. Now what Hyundai will be doing is sell this current sanrto udner it and Getz above it....

Wonder what will happen to Getz 1.1.

Also by the time this car reaches us... We will have Suzuki Splash i.e. also to be sold as Opel and Vauxhall.

So the competetion is defintely gettting exciting

I am "following" this car in a Spanish Car forum, forocoches.com (although unlike this forum, is not only devoted to Spanish, nor only to Cars, we have a "General" section to talk about Off-Topics).

We are talking about the spy photos, information we have... of this new car here: Hyundai "Pa" - ForoCoches

and the photos in Page 4 on this thread are the best that I've found so far.

I'm surprised that noone mentioned that this car will be presented in Frankfurt (Germany) Motor Show which is going to be celebrated from 13 to 23 September, 2007. However, noone knows when Hyundai will start to sell It, it may be inmediately before the presentation, or, I think, 3 months later, perhaps in December/January, although I'm talking about the European version.

I want to inform you, that, the European version will be called "i10" because Hyundai Europe is renaming all their cars starting from new models/restyling, and the i10/Pa/New Atos (here is called Atos instead of Santro) is hopefully the second car with this new name (before the i30).

I'm open to questions, and I want to thank you for making available this useful information :)

What is the engine capacity and what can be the features, engine options?

I am wondering why they launched the getz 1.1 ?

I think I saw a test mule doing rounds in Bangalore on one my late night drives, got all excited and gave chase...From far, I could see it heavily shrouded(mud color), only the glass was visible.

I reached near it and I could recognise Santro headlights from under the covering. And I read Santro Xing XP through what look liked a jute bag covering. Then I realised, HOLY COW !!! it is a normal Santro, so dirty that it looked like a camouflaged car. The rear wiper had cleaned the rear glass, giving it the appearance that rest of the car was covered.

Choona lag gaya ! stupid:Wonder how the owner managed to get the car so dirty though.

I found this test mule on the GQ. Which car is this?

While i was drving down - i saw this - pulled out the camera and started clicking. Then the driver noticed and fell back. He refused to overtake. Finally - i kinda hid behid one truck, and then he overtook and stopped.
