Is the Octavia going to be discontinued ?

Octavia looks great and does not need a change. What it needs is some
features like ABS, Traction Control, Climatronic (and rear A/C vents) to
deliver value for money. It is a very good car, but the competition is certainly heating up and they need to kick it up a notch.

I think I will wait another few months and it may be worth it.

The Diesel Octy has all that in the LnK trim though.

Well I started having nagging problems with the car got irritating for me continue using it therefore looking for a new car but the problem is I test drove the Civic and it feels like a pansy in comparison therefore hoping that the laura comes out with a petrol variant soon!

I would agree with Vkochar !!

Octavia is up for face lift for sure. Its been long time in India and surely reaching a stage where it needs face lift. And I am sure it would get one by in 2008.
