This is the new Sumo as others have said. Looks like the launch is pretty close now.
This has the potential to take back the taxi market from Innova if priced a 1.5lac lower for equivalent trim levels

No doubt it looks like new sumo. Think this may take over from existing sumo/qualis segment.

Scorpio Hawk is already launched, so it must be the new Sumo....!

The Scorpio (m)Hawk is already out. So this is not it. From the rakish lines of the windshield and simiplistic body panels, this resembles a Sumo or more likely its successor.

The front looks more like a safari to me. Anyway, this should be a TATA family car...

Great Work Kunal.

It looks like a new Sumo (or PHOENIX?). We will have to wait till Jan 10.

Looks from the Tata stable for sure, also it is the same colour as the new Tata Sumo posted on another thread, was talking to a Tata guy in the morning. He told me that it is coming with a 2.2 dicor and according to him the average of this vehicle is around 15 KMPL in the city, the expected price is 6.5 lakhs, it sure is going to kill the Innova and prempt the Ingenio.

It is the new Sumo/Pheonix, but here's the other bit....was on my way to Mahabhaleswar on the 30th when I spotted a blue one heavily camouflaged on the expressway, this dude overtook me when I was doing around 120k. Tried catching up with him but this guy took off like nobody's business, I was upto 160 before I realised that the Indigo isn't the best car to go that fast in. Despite the speedo error I assume I must have been doing atleast 145 - 150 but this guy kept pulling away! More importantly that car seemed pretty stable from what I saw.
On my way back home today saw 5 of them together on the expressway going in the opposite direction.......all heavily disguised of course.

Yup - surely the new Sumo. Looking at the body line it does not look like a scorpio at all. and as said by everyone else before, why hide a model which has been released?

guess the driver was just trying his best to give the wrong info... he just didnt know that we are discussion it here!
