SCOOP: Guyz! look at what I have spotted (EDIT: Spotted a camouflaged New SUMO)

I was on my way to Mahabaleshwar a week back on a family trip. We saw this car all wrapped up just after the entrance of the Khambatki Ghats, and wanted to check it out. My first impression from the shape was it is just a Scorpio. Luckily I managed to get the name out of the driver's mouth. It is the new Scorpio Hawk. It surely didn't have very encouraging interiors. Don't expect much. We roughed up with the driver and one of his co-passenger while trying to take snaps. This is the only thing that we could manage. Sorry!

Nice catch. It does look like the new scorpio but, can hardly make out what changes were done to it.

Yepp.. Looks like the new Sumo to me too. The driver must have deliberately misled.

Why should the cover-up an already launched car?

More Tatamobilish looks than a Scorpio.

From the pictures that we have seen of the Sumo replacement on this forum, it would suffice to say that it looks very much like it.

Yes it does, especially when you compare this with the slab-sided Sumo Grande/Xenon/Pheonix/New TATA MUV pics posted by another BHPian from Mahabaleshwar.

This is the new Sumo for sure.
Too bad no interior pics, although by now we would have a fair idea about how it would look like.
