97 octane

i hear 97 octane is available now in bombay. any truth to this? if so i guess it is time to up-chip my RS. BTW when we left for our vacation i left my RS with my mom. Now she wants one.

Yes - BP has launched Speed 97. I too wanted to try it on my RS. Only problem is that Skoda strongly recommend that no additives should be added to the fuel and only unleaded fuel should be used. Speed 97 however comes with additives and it seems this creates problems for the Skoda engine. Anyone with more info ?
