If Honda sells this 2L variant at a price cheaper than the current CRV, it would certainly affect the upmarket image CRV currently holds.

Honda got this engine to be able to show a good reason to reduce the price of CR-V otherwise it would have hurt their image.

Has this got anything to do with the increasing number of GVs that I am seeing on road? Is the price of the 2.0 litre version closer to GV?
