Skoda Service Cost

After free period is over, driver took the Car to Skoda Workshop for 6th monthly Check-up in South Delhi. Skoda Workshop gave an estimate of Rs 9000.00(oil change etc). Car electric has some little problem (one door lock does not open and mirror does not operate. Skoda Workshop gave an estimate of Rs 8,000.

I am just wondering, are these resonable costs? With this rate, I will pay Rs 18,000 per year for regular maintenace.

What a shame you didn't check out T-BHP BEFORE buying the car!

Dear,

As it had been listed many times on this forum. Skoda is certainly not a car which has low cost of ownership. Though the car is great, there are significant cost attached to it in owning.
And I think this must have been same with all the high end cars. BMW run flat tires: have nail in it whichis quite common in India and end up spending close to 30,000/ - replacing the tyre

This is one of he examples, but context is that, all great cars comes with strings attached to them. Leaving behind Hondas and Corollas, which can run for years without mcuh fun fair.

So its a personal choice.

Thanks, Vipul
