The premium for a Santro CRDi will be a lot less than in the Accent, Getz (speculative) etc. Reason? Mass production!! The Santro enjoys sales numbers that have never existed in the higher segments. Why, it recently took the spot of the no.1 best seller in a month. And thats surpassing the 800/Alto brigade.
In the lower end of the market, Hyundai cant be beaten at strategy and pricing. Its going to be an exciting match to watch.

P.S. With turbos and CRDi, everyone else is going to have the same additional costs too.

Yea spot on and it gained a lot in those 3 days where Santro was available for 300,000. That price was without insurance n stuff, wasnt it? Correct me if im wrong.

itr was 300k for the ca without insurance and reg and all
the santro crdi will surely be a good competitor in the market
with the price being its only deterrant
