List of Turbocharged cars Available in India ???

It was probably TATA safari then followed by the sierra...
i.e as far as i remember

Didnt the Sierra turbo come before Safari? What about Montego. It came around 1993??

If I am not mistaken the order was Montego -> Sierra -> Safari....

I think the Tata Safari was the First Diesel Turbo, followed by the Sierra turbo.

Yep, turbo charged, intercooled 3 cylinder engines with collaboration from Detroit Diesels.

This is the reason why the VIVA has some good numbers, it does 100kmph in 13.21 secs and reaches the 140 mark at 28.62 secs.

Yes, it beats the Ikon 1.6....

I am not much of a Hyundai fan but I do like the VIVA Crdi, the Tucson and ofcourse the blistering Embera..

Could anybody please tell me, the W124 E-250 Diesel is turbo charged? Mean i was under the impression the OM 605 engine is just DI and not TDI.
