had a test ride in the innova a cpla weeks ago

Quality, prformance, toyota engg assured...

but i found one prob on first impression...

Me a six-footer, n still i could find a coupla blind spots, atleast as far as city driving is concerned. In a place like mumbai, banglore, where u have traffic runing at inches away from each other, it wont be easy to manouver the vehicle.

Will have to test drive it in city to verify the same.

the innova looks pretty Long and unless you are going to take your family often out, see little point in buying it.
definitely not for everyday office use

Just today morning saw a white Innova in J.P Nagar. It doesn't look good on road, too long, and it's rear-end looks raised giving the butt in the sky effect.

looks of innova are actually deceiving because of lowered height compared to its width.....

See how innova fairs with scorpio and safari

Innova:
Length = 4555
Width = 1770
Height = 1755

Scorpio:
Length = 4475
Width = 1774
Height = ?

Safari:
Length : 4810 mm
Width : 1918 mm
Height = ?

scorpio and safari look better since its height is proportinal to with width...

and innova is not that bad (size wise) on the road. its only 8 CM longer than scorpio and width is 4 MM shorter than scorpio... and innova is smaller than safari.... as again looks are deceiving...

Also remember that since the Innova is an MPV, it has more interior space than the Safari even though it is smaller, because a lot of that extra length in the Safari is the engine bay.

the Innova is a lovely car but mainly for family use
we took it for a test drive
lots of space inside and very responsive engine i am sure it will surprise many
the sales guy also showed the different seating combinations could be set
Ac vents are also amazing and it is very powerful
I think it is very very competetively priced

so......

one of my colleagues is going to buy it. his plan is to convert it to a four seater.
with a TV, fridge and plenty of room to stretch out, he is planning to really make it another home on the roads
