Typos in Owner's Manual

1. Turn Signal Switch : When the turn signal knob is turned to left or right. The cancellation will take place automatically. When the handle bar is throw back in straight position. It can also be cancelled bye pressing the knob in other direction - manually.

2. While starting ensure that engine kill switch is in ON position. The kill switch in OFF position Engine will not start.

3. When the engine is already warm on hot days, open the throttle part away instead of using the choke, and then start the engine.

These are a few I found in the Owner's Manual of Bajaj 150 DTS-i. I shall add more after I have gone through the manual completely.

SS, Very interesting thread.
Hope After your complete go through manual you can put all findings at once and then go for consumer court .
Yes I am also opening my car manual. Let me check for any car manual typos .I never opened my car manual after I bought 1.5 years back.

It seems to be a distinct possibility, Ross. I was aware of outsourcing to China but never thought even the manuals are outsourced !!!!!!!!!!
