Mitsubishi MUVs / SUVs that we don't get in India ...

Amongst the lesser known Mitsu MUVs that are apparently sold only in the ASEAN region are :

1. Fuzion : Mitsubishi Fuzion (recently intro'd, competes with Innova)

2. Adventure : Mitsubishi Adventure (looks older, competes with Isuzu Panther a.k.a. Chevrolet Tavera)

And a newly introduced SUV :

1. Montero Sport : Mitsubishi Montero Sport (completely different from the Montero, competes with the Fortuner)

What do fellow MUV / SUV enthusiasts feel ?

Cheers,

FourWheelDrift

Maybe they are not bringing them down here due the problems with these which could be the pricing which they would have when made / brought to India which would make them look over priced compared to their competitors.

If the above mentioned cars are brought to India at good pricing then they can give stiff competition, but Mitsubishi is all messed up in India. They are yet to bring in new Lancer, let alone these cars. They need a more wide spread dealer and A.S & S. network, cars that are priced well in league of competition.
Indian market is not on the priority of Mitsubishi, so the delay.
Moreover, IMHO, they dont have good diesels like Toyota, so they are not able to compete according to the potential of the cars.

Knowing HM's capability, I'll be happy if:

- They give the Pajero a more powerful / common-rail engine
- Price the Montero better. Lower by atleast 25 - 30%.

That ought to do for the time being

What about the Mitsubishi Outlander. I have heard that this SUV from Mitsubishi is a good car and worth the price tag.
