Default Engine types- What is a F type engine ?

Hi all,

I do not know if this posting is meant to be here but moderators kindly move it to the right forum if wrongly posted.

I would like to know what are the different engine types.

Example:- My Maruti Zen Estillo is a F type engine listed under specifications.

If only someone can explain the meaning and difference between such different engine types.

Thank You
