I suggest prospective buyers to check out a US based website New Car Prices, Used Cars for Sale, Car Reviews, and Quotes - IntelliChoice to get a 5 year ownership cost before buying an import or foreign brands that are available in US. The ownership costs are based on US prices which can be extrapolated to costs in India.

Audi though looks hip, has high ownership costs over a 5 year period. Atleast in US, Audi doesn't have much of a re-sale value when compared to Mercedes and BMW.

are you sure thats the only reason , no other reason to sell the cars? for eg the current economic scenario etc

hold on to your horses abhinav... you just got an RS, hold on buddy enjoy it and then think about upgrading.
Audi no doubt produces one of the finest cars in terms of features and engineering. I for one would pick audi A4 over bmw 3 series or merc c class anyday. Offcourse it has to be the 3.2 FSI or 3.0L Diesel quattro. Till then i'll enjoy the vRS.

Its amazing Audi in India is having a hard time. Here in the UK, Audi is (was) doing really well. Outselling the 3 series i think.

I used to have a 2.4 V6 A4 and i loved it to bit - it was great to drive and had more than enough power. After 3 years or owning it (yes servicing and everything was expensive) i sold it to buy my Subaru.

But overall i never had any problems with it and it drove really well. Yes the suspension was on the stiffer side - but that's what made it a bit more fun to drive.
