Driving Training - Coimbatore/Chennai ?

Hi folks,

I havent been visiting team-bhp too often lately but i promise to be regular now

so a big hi to all !

anyway, I'm due a holiday and instead of the usual mcleodganj/manali trip i was wondering if i could get a 2-3 day (or longer) training session for saloon racing and rally training as well in some place in India - I did mail JK but never got a reply.

so does anyone know whether there are any courses being held and whom to contact ?

Yes, there are driving/racing schools held at Chennai and Coimbatore. I would recomend attenting the Coimbatore school, as it uses better equipement and has a better instructor (Akbar Ebrahim).

They have different programmes ranging from 3 days to 5 days, where they start you off on Rotax karts and move to the Formula LGB cars.

Prices go from about Rs.10,000 onwards, depending on the programme you opt for.
