VW Caravelle on Bangalore roads

Found a VW Caravelle on Bangalore roads. No camoflageing was doine, the VW symbol was huge in both front and rear.

It could be an import,maybe some Hotel/MNC might have imported it. What kind of number plates did it have? Private/Commercial/Embassy/Test car.

I remember reading long ago in a newspaper (ToI I think), about Caravelle being launched (imported as CBU).

I saw a similar van with Transporter or something written behind. It was used by a hotel. Is it the same?

I remember seeing some VW vans in the AutoExpo @ Palace Grounds. Displayed by a Tourist Taxi operator...

I saw it in Pune today morning, unfortunately was with my CEO and boss going to meet a customer, hence couldn't take snaps.

I saw this VW Caravelle in Pune at abot 2.30pm today, going towards Pune station from KP. Had a private Pune number. Really tall and wide.
