PS: I'm not a fan of any brand. Well, except Ferrari
why not ? there is nothing in the world that says dont compair NA vs turbo and nobody gives you two cars of a year as one in NA form and another one in turbo form .
internationaly also engines are compaired on capacity( CC ) form to give you the engine of the year , that says ie. 1 to 2 L , 2000cc-3000cc and so on .each CC catogory will have its engine of the year, and one overall. nobody compairs them on their turbo or non turbo basis.
so its very fair.!

Thank you McLaren.

How about the RITZ VDI engine with Bharat Stage IV. Is it older or 2009 engine. The car was introduced in 2009 May. So I thought the engine should be of 2009.

Multijet all the way

I vote for legendary multijet engines which were first made around 1995 specially for cars and then Fiat has to license the technology as it was too poor to even build these. ( wrote in my words, reference: wikipedia)

Now, I believe mutijets are the most reliable CRDI engines.

Best - 1.3 Fiat is not listed. Hence my vote to Nano 623CC for it`s innovative design and frugal engineering technique
