Have always been a fan of Tata Safari Ads, they capture that tiny little thread of thought which lingers on in young people/professionals's mind every hour and every day. The thought of freedom, of doing what they love, this thought which haunts them every single hour of the day ! And then suddenly they come face to face with an Ad which says 'Reclaim Your Life' !!!

Just saw a new tata nano advertisement on tv. And yes i think this adv. Can surly boost the nano sales. Very fresh tune. I loved it.

Safari boys are back! I love this ad. The Strome looks so good and it really doesn't care about the tarmacked road. :D

I have always been a big fan of TATA's advertisements right from the beginning. Two ads that come to my mind are:

1. Way back in 2005, when TATA introduced the 3.0 DiCOR engined Safari, a white Safari was shown in the desert (or mountain?? I dont remember :D). Here, the young driver, on approaching a certain obstacle, simply engages 4X4 low. The Safari is shown making a big leap across the obstacle and then, lands after a certain distance. I guess that was the time white SUVs started catching the fancy of Indian buyers.
That ad made me go :Shockked:

2. Last year, TATA came up with this wonderful ad wherein a middle-aged man drives his brand new Nano home and hands over the keys to his 8 yr old daughter, who leaps in joy. The ad is a brilliant portrayal of the emotions typically experienced by an Indian family on the arrival of its first car. It really touched my heart.

If only TATA's cars were as awesome as its advertisements.

Very true. This ad will appeal to guys who love taking the vehicle on trails - shows exactly the capability on exactly where it will be used. Bang on target!! Loved the way it crosses the forest track and goes into the forest again

I think TATA ads are some of the best.
In fact I can still remember the Sierra ad when it was launched years ago. The owner of the sierra gets off in a hotel. After that the Sierra drives itself to a dirty and mucky area where it freaks out and then comes back to the hotel where the owner was.

That's Vashi Railway station in the backdrop, isn't it?


Btw, the new JK Tyres ad is so biased, class of society wise. All they've shown are rich Indian families having a good time, traveling in Land Rovers and Bimmers fit with JK Tyres! Not one budget/C segment vehicle is shown! :Frustrati

Do none of you remember Shahrukh Khan's Santro Zip ads? I am no fan of Shahrukh but a part of Hyundai's success is due to the ad blitz featuring Shahrukh.

All, I came across several threads, best TV ads related to India worst TV ads, critic of auto ads, brochure ads, ad wars etc. The common thing I noticed is that we all, atleast most of us have loved Tata ads (especially Safari). But I could not find a thread to post "Lovable" ads from around the world.

This ad will jerk a tear out out of even a cynical, jaded creature.. Lovely ad. Especially when one remembers the affection and protection that one's own parents give one always.
