And then their mundane display of hatches. Get this : Their hatchbacks were cordoned off, the general public could not access them!! What better time to have general visitors "touch and feel" hatchbacks like the i20?
Even more strange, unlike the hatchbacks, their sedan range was accessible!
The i10 electric was the sole car of interest over at Hyundai. 65 BHP electric motor, driving range of 160 kms and a top speed of 130 kph. Can be charged via your standard 220v household socket!
I like the Genesis coupe, looks quite nice. Any India launch plans? Quite silly of Hyundai to keep visitors away from the usual offerings. The kiddy zone is good idea for the kids to have fun and learn a thing or two about road safety while the parents check out the cars on the stall.
The i10 electric is interesting but I feel it is still a long way off from our roads. The pricing will be an important factor.
any more details and pictures of their H1 Wagon.
The H1 wagon looks like something that'll work in India.

Did you mention kids somewhere?
PS: I would've definitely loved to drive in that safety zone, provided they had cars that would take my size and weight.
the hyundai was really bland this time compared to the last expo.shunned aside in the bikes hall.
only cool thing was the safety zone, only grief that I couldnt fit in those cars.
@dippy- the executive said that they were thinking of bringing their genesis coupe at something around 28-30 lakhs.not sure about when though.
What a waste of space except for the kids section- that is really cool and innovative.
Wonder what makes them not even show a single car they plan to launch!!! With the competition hotting up and with VW polo- they surely cannot just rest on the current success i-20 has. Not allowing people to touch and feel existing cars is a waste- why have them on display at all- cant we see them on the road in that case;)
The h1 looks to me like a camel/ox with a hump!stupid:
The genesis looks splendid though - dont they think its 'launch worthy' in India?

I think this is the one displayed as H1 wagon. You can see more pics of it in their US website
Hyundai Motor Company :: Focus H1
Thanks,
Prakash.
I was about to puke out after seeing the first car but then, I saw Genesis :P
The Genesis looks good, the H1 could work well in the people mover segment.
The Genesis looks nice! It's a favorite among American tuners. Does Hyundai have any plans of launching this here?
I don't think the H1 is coming to India.
