The light assembly at the back looks like a misfit. It wasn't apparent on the red Polo displayed at the Auto Expo, but in this silver one it looks really bad. Polo claims the title of the worst fitting backlights from i10.

Hope there's no similarity in the sales of both models:)

Wrong. It is the same engine. Diesel & Petrol both.
Although, it would be tuned a tad differently, electronically.

Only striking difference is VW polo has 15 " alloy wheels thus raising Ground clearance compared to Fabia 14 ".

Isn't the Polo diesel Common Rail vs PD for Fabia? Further Polo diesel is a 1.2 liter engine while Fabia diesel is 1.4 liter engine.

Here is where I picked the official info from:

Polo:

In fact the German site claims it can give up to 30 km per liter. Further the Polo has a 1.6 liter 4 cylinder engine that is absent in the current offering by Fabia
