Hyundai Getz: The deal I got - comments and advice

Hi,

I got the following deal for the hyundai getz. let me know your thoughts. also please help me in choosing seat covers/sun film etc.

GVS Model - 523000 on road price in bangalore with the following freebies:

1) kenwood nippon mp3 player with 4 orion speakers
2) Remote locking
3) Under chassis body coating
4) Fog lamps
5) Usual stuff - mats, mud guards, teflon coating, idol, air freshner etc.
6) PU/Art leather cover of my choice from their range available
7) Garware Classic Sun film

The car colour is scarlet sgae (dark red). I am considering a beige/ligt grey perforated PU seat cover. will it go well with the getz interiors and the car color.

On the sun film, is garware classic any good or should i consider upgrading to 3M or Ray Barrier or vCool.

vKool or Llumar, but bear in mind that both these are very expensive. Llumar also has a silver series which is priced at a slight premium over Garware. Their Platinum and Neutral series of films would work out to about 5 times more than Garware.

If you're going for clear sun control film for your front windscreen, its worth paying the extra for Llumar/3M/vKool because Garware's clear coat for the front windscreen (Ice Cool, I think) is NOT metallised and wont be as effective as the others. You could balance the cost by going in for Garware for your windows and rear windscreen - they're pretty good films, all they lack is a 'foreign' sounding name.

The underbody coating is not really required. Try and wangle something else instead, a full tank of gas? I hear 3M clear sun film is good, provides protection from sun without sacrificing visibilty.

Why don't u think abt the Red/Black combo for the seats. Just get two tone seats.

Offtopic - Any idea when the new Getz will be launched??

the new getz should be launched in india late next year. the changes are fairly minimal - cosmetic. the big change for india will be the CRDi engine.
