Spotted: Lancer EvoX in Sriperambathur

Finally the Evo X is here...

Spotted this breathtaking beauty under test near a village road near Sriperambathur today morning. Seems like the initial tests are over and an the early launch is on the anvil because the car was not camouflaged at all. Finally the beast has arrived....Thanks Mitsu

how are you sure this is a mule and not a privately owned vehicle. If its really a mule then great news this.

spittingfire, give us the regn no. except the last 3 or 4 digits and we can determine if it's a test mule or not. The plant is indeed somewhere in that area. This must be the best village road I have ever seen anywhere in India. I was under the impression it would be a CBU. Are CBUs put through extensive road tests as well? I doubt it.

Well Mitsu had announced that they will be launching the Evo X for about 30 Lacs sometime in mid of this year. So that way this fits.

I also read that Mitsu will be importing Evo X as CBU to India and will be launching them this year year itself. But the price which was mentioned was around 40 lacs.
This might have been here for a similar show put up by Nissan for its 370Z!

Whats the expected price?

Previously, i have seen statements in the forum telling- EVO would make a great choice at BMW 3 prices! However, with 3 now going the CE way, will this go the overpriced way?

I know EVO is incomparable (I'm a huge fan! ), but the 3 is also a driver's delight.

Why? this was caught testing on a public road, and picture posted on a public forum.
