^^ While we cannot really gauge the proportions, I would tend to agree with you about this not being the H800, looks too big.

Apparently, there seems to be no necessary relation between no. of valves and no. of cams.

Looked up in Wiki and found this article

Overhead camshaft - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So, while some companies have 1 cam operating 1 valve, there are others
who operate 2 valves with 1 cam, 2 valves with 2 cams and even 5 valves with 2 cams.

Very good explanation of dohc and sohc and it is illustrated too

OHV, OHC, SOHC and DOHC (twin cam) engine - Automotive illustrated glossary

thats the micra.. not a H800

That does not remotely look close to the micra, it does look close to the i20 though. This is a Nissan Micra, a rounded shaped body compared to the angular lines of the car shown above.

Thats the earlier generation micra.

This indeed could be the new H800.In fact, the proportions look quite right to me.But Hyundai hasn't even spared this one of its cheesy "fluidic sculpture" styling! Looks good, but overdone.

.

M800 retails for 1.71 lakhs ex showroom here plus you have options for a few other discounts and haggle the dealer a fair bit even the above mentioned price will see a dip. So INR 160k is not 'way lower' than m800. H800 though will be a lot more modern and I guess its safe to assume that it will be a lot better than m800 too.

But talking strictly of the price INR160K is almost enough to get you a new 800 (not in delhi and other metros of course) so pricing of H800 even if its close to the rumored 160k figure won't be much lower than the current pricing of M800.

Regards.

I really doubt if those are spyshots of H800, it looks much bigger than the i10. It could be a new car to fill in between the i10 and i20.

Not a low cost car, its called as HB and based on ix platform.

What a design! dont think this is the car that will make its way to india, but it does look good."So what i am a small car,i can still scare the hell out of you, grrrrrr!!"

good design but @ 1.70 lacs,i dont feel it will be possible to get it at that price point

I20 and I10 got married and gave birth to this design

Funky looking car, but I doubt its the H800 in the Auto Esporte pictures. Too many elements to make it a cheap production car. Hyundai have certainly come a long way in the design department!

The spyshots look like a hatch version of the new verna to me
