I know looks are subjective, but according to me, new Accent looks really bad; especially the front portion.

It still has long nose, like the older one. but cabin seems to be enlarged by pushing the back shield further, like viva. overall view looks similar to optra to my eyes too...

agree! tho they have (unsuccessfully) tried a chrysler for the grille bits!

The interiors look snazzy tho (with the beige two tones becoming popular here we may get that too). The rear seats actually look like people can sit on them long distance!

Now if we could only get that warranty....

dese koreans(hyundai) can never come with anything original .. got the nack of copying bits and peices or the whole thing from competetitors

they have made the boring accent (read the older one) a bit more boring (IMHO), i dont know what the designers are trying to do by giving the vehicles a taller look in the middle, it looks like some ones pulled the prototype or clay model from the top and .... well looks like it doesn't matter, but most of the folks are doing their new cars a lot alike.

i think if they put crdi engine in this model and price at 7 lakhs this car will sell like hot cake in india. I think they should include ABS and Air Bags in top end models. I won't mind paying 75k more for air bags and other fancy stuff.

Avinas Bro. have u ever thought that why all cars are having a designs like corolla, NHC, Indigo, Fiesta and now new accent. It is because these cars are Aerodynamic and more better then their precedessors. They can give more FE, Better Safety and stuff.

That 2.5 box, semi MPV look made popular by the current Corolla is on its way out. Toyota are scrambling to redo their Corolla after the New Civic was unveiled - the brief is to make the car look more 'exciting', and looking at the new Civic you can rest assured that the anonymous look of the current economy sedans is on its way out. The low-stance is back and thank god or it!

same page n edmunds has an ad for lexus IS350, i don't see much difference in shape of that and new accent.

i still don't get it while i think how they manage to sell same accent model for more then 9 years !
