That one thing which strikes a chord in your heart...always!

Hello all,

We are a family of crazy petrolheads and dieselheads! We do all kinds of research before buying our rides. We are emotionally attached to our rides and take utmost care of them.We absolutely love our vehicles and live to drive!
With so many emotions attached,I want to know that one (or more) aspect/s of your vehicle (it might be very insignificant and also sound stupid to non petrolheads/dieselheads.) that always manages to strike a chord in your heart, manages to get a smile on your face!!

To start with me:
I own a Fiat Punto MJD E+ and the "thud" noise when i close the door is something that always makes me grin and secondly the high speed behavior is sumthing that makes me smile and strikes a chord in my heart!

So lets hear it from you guys!

For me it is the way the car moves. Every car moves in its own unique way, its own style of changing direction, keeping a straight line, leaping forward, bouncing around, swaying from left to right, etc etc.

The one thing that strikes my heart's chord every time I drive it and makes me smile, is the way my Ford moves. It is just oh-so-stable, poised, eager to change direction at a flick of the wheel, and very very dignified in its on-road behavior which smacks of "class".

I do not know whether I am entitled to make this comment as an AT car owner, but the way my i10 accelerates like breeze in 3rd gear is simply superb. Makes me feel like king of the road

For me, it's smoothness of ANHC enigne, which makes me feel "WOW"!
Specially while cruising on a highway at 100 kmph.

Its the turbo kick.

I know that oilburners are not expected to be fast.But.
When I have my turbo spooled up and I can go through the gears and keep the revs up and overtake everything in sight.
I cant help but grin.
Its that sense of urgency and the nimble footed nature along with that.

The roar from the cold air intake and the rev needle kissing the red band. Love it every time I listen to it and love to see it!

for me it has to be the moment you close the door and all of a sudden you seem to have stepped into a world of your own with your fav track playing, it is sure to bring a big smile on your face.

I own a fusion, and it makes me smile whenever I make my way through a difficult patch of road abondoned by other car owners such as large potholes, a ditch or slush and then seeing other cars struggling in my RVM. A wide grin!

What I like in my Bolero is the turbo whine and the way it picks up speed effortlessly surprising a lot of people.

Many of the TBHPians who have sat in my Bolero get amazed at its acceleration.

For my Uno its the 2nd gear 60-80 and 3rd gear 100 that brings out a smile on my face.

Exactly the same for me!

I feel complete when I'm inside my i20! It always feels like this is where I'm meant to be!

And yes, it does bring a huge smile on my face!!
