Hello bullettooth,
68000 kms in 9 years is good mileage if the odo's not tampered. Since you have complete service history, 2L seems like a good price.
Hope this helps

Thanks Powertrain,
I will check out the car for final inspection with the help of a mechanic.
I will keep the price guidelines during negotiations.
Will post soon on how the negotiations went.
@Jignesh @powertrain Thanks for the replies! @Jignesh, i didnt see your price or do you mean to say 440000?
Anyways my car has minor scratches here and there, also front bumber has small dent. Any idea How much these will affect the valuation?
Just upgraded to wider tyres(yoko c-drive) + alloy wheels recently at 42000 + ICE(pio 8950UB, JBL speakers, amp)
A Guy here quoted 360000 and giving 2007 model is the reason for such a low value and also he told, 2007 models were has engine noise(ironically mine has).
According to him, 2010 model(and 200000 Kms) is gone for 500000 last month here(Madurai).

Hello Smnrock,
I regret. The price I wanted to indicate was Rs. 4,00,000 for 2007 Swift Vdi.
Minor scratches here & there does not reduce the value much, any local mechanic can remove then at little cost. I do not know about high engine noise in 2007 Swifts, but consider the fact that the Car is almost 5 & half years old & people are generally wary of buying very old Diesel Cars.
Thanks,
Help required.
Friend in Chennai has the following car up for sale.
2007 Hyundai Verna
He is the second owner - bought the car from Hyundai dealer in Pondicherry when she was 10 months and 20,000 km old, and is PY regd.
Currently she's done 130,000+ km.
Serviced regularly at A$S.
How much should be a realistic asking price??
A 2007 single owner Verna diesel top end done 56k genuine kms was bought by my collegue last week for 4.65L in Chennai. I think it was a steal

Hello Geo,
Looking @ narayan's post I think the Verna's max. value is about 3-3.5L & certainly not above that.

Is this in Bangalore? I think selling any out of state registration car in Bangalore might reduce the value by a bit. To give you an idea about the price, I sold my 2008 Swift Vdi which had run 90000 kms for Rs.440000 a couple of months back. This had KA 46 registration.

Are you sure that even a petrol verna would fetch so much for the specs given by Geo?

It indeed is the diesel version. Offers coming so far have all been below 2.7 lac. The car will most likely be up on our classifieds soon.
Ola!
A friend of mine (in Bangalore) is looking at this Nov 2002 Wagon R Vxi. Single owner and in excellent condition. Run about 65000 kms. Asking price is 1.4L. What do you guys suggest?
The car is over 10 years old. Running isn't much though comparatively, but right now the market for petrol cars is down. 1.4L is too high IMHO. Around 90k or 1L should be a good amount.

Hello Creative420,
Nothing more than Rs. 1,00,000 for November 2002 WagonR Vxi with 65000 kms on ODO.
To give you actual illustration - I had bought November 2001 WagonR Vxi with 27000 kms on ODO in March 2010 for Rs. 1,40,000 & sold the same car for Rs. 1,15,000 after 1 year (in March 2011).
Thanks,

Hello creative,
Like Jignesh said, nothing over 0.80-1L. 1.4L is nothing but daylight robbery:Shockked:.
