Hello Avisidhu,
2010 Punto Emotion Pack (Diesel) will be available in used car market for atleast Rs. 4.5 lacs. User car dealers will quote nothing less than Rs. 5 lacs for 2010 Punto.

Hello T3ofil4us,
I feel Rs. 2 lacs is too high for Dec 2000 OHC AT 1.5 EXI running on CNG with 86000 on ODO. The most important question here is long long it has run on CNG?
Further coming to price, I feel Rs. 1.5 lacs will be a appropriate price for this car.
Thanks,

The car seems to have depreciated big time in the past 5-6 years. With the recent upgrades I was hoping maybe we can get some better deal. But looks like almost 90k invested in parts is a waste. We will list and see if it meets our expectation else we will hold it for one more year and then sell. We made mistake changing the parts as without them also we were quoted similar price

Hello,
Try to find a direct buyer & he may pay you approx Rs. 4.5 lacs for this Car.
But in my opinion, if parking space is not a issue, you should keep this Car for another 2 / 3 years as with recent modifications, I am sure the car would be in perfect condition. Even otherwise Verna is a good car to own & drive.
Thanks,

Thanks For Getting back so soon!
Even i feel the same jignesh , two other options are a Baleno VXI (2003)with CNG conversion in black color 1.2L KM on the ODO and quoted for 1.8L Or a swift VDI 2008 in black Cost approx 3.75L.
What say? Fair Enough?

After running around sonata embera and hond accords, just found a Jan 2007 BMW 320i done 28500 kms. Asking price is 12.95 lacs from the dealer. How much is the car worth? If i buy the car i plan to keep it for at least 5 - 7 years.
Was the 320i launched as the regular variant or as corporate edition back in 2006-07? |
After some research on the 3 series launch I found this article on
bsmotoring.com Will be taking the car to Navnit Motors on Hosur road to get a check done. I'm assuming anything between 11.5 and 12.5 lacs should be a good deal.
How much can I expect to get for my 2yrs old, 21k done Cedia Sports maintained in top condition? (not a single scratch)
Dealers are quoting nonsensical figures between 5-6L - I had paid 11.4L on-road in Bangalore, and was hoping to get 8.4L after 2 yrs - is that reasonable? 8 lakhs at least?
Just want to sell it because my wife wants an AT, and i've already got an s80 so don't have enough space in parking lot for a third car (somehow squeezing in two big sedans at the moment!)

Naah, there is no way you'd get 8.4l for a 2 year old Cedia. Mitsubishis and petrols, both lose resale value at a very fast pace, and your car sadly fits in both the criterias! Maybe an if you sell it to a private buyer and don't go via the dealer route, you could get 6 or a bit above that. Even 6.5 would be very optimistic. Here is a BHPian who just purchased a similar Cedia for ~5.6l

Hello T3ofil4us,
Frankly speaking I do not prefer to buy 10 year old cars that have done more than 1 lacs kms & that to already running on CNG.
If your budget permits then 2008 Swift Vdi for Rs. 3.75 lacs is the best option. But if you are purely looking for CNG options, then I will advice to go for 2006 / 2007 Honda City for approx Rs. 2.75 lacs which has done around 50,000 kms on Petrol & you install CNG kit after buying the car.
Thanks,

Thought Monteros lose value much faster than this. What would have been the OTR then and now?
Sorry, but a brand new Fortuner would make more sense at that price right? I know Montero is one segment above, still!

The OTR then was around the same it is now, i.e. pre budget, 47lac INR.
OT: Forget segments, I simply hate the Fortuner, for its various shortcomings which mean a lot to me.
What should be a good price for a Mercedes Benz; C250 petrol; 2010 model; silver grey; 54000 kms; second owner; Mumbai registered?
Guys!! What would these two fetch me?
Swift vxi G13B May 2007 42xxx run and Aug 2010 Alto lxi F8B 35xxx on the odo.
Thanks.
