Hello Sam,

If the car is working well & there is no major technical issue, I will suggest to keep the car for next couple of years (provided the parking place permits).

If you still want to sell the car you may get maximum Rs. 60,000 to 75,000 for your 2002 Tata Indica Lsi Petrol with 58,000 kms on ODO.

Thanks,

A close friend of mine has very similar configuration car (2002 make, 65K km run, single owner, petrol Indica) which is meticulously pampered and in perfect working condition. It was evaluated for Rs 60K at Toyota showroom. He decided to retain the car. This is in Pune. HTH.

Thank you folks for the responses. Much appreciated.

There is a new car already in its place and hence cannot retain it and nor there is parking space. I guess, will try to settle in for min 50-55K to a buyer who genuinely uses it.

Cheers, Sam

Hello Spiler,

I will suggest to avoid 2005 / 06 Ikons.

If you budget is Rs. 2 lacs for a used car & your monthly running is on lower side ( approx 600 kms per month), I will suggest you to go for 2006 / 2007 WagonR or Santro. You may also get 2006 Honda city for rs. 2.5 lacs.

These are pretty reliable cars & will give you 2 / 3 years of trouble free ride.

Hello,

You can expect approx Rs. 4 lacs for your August 2011 VW Polo 1.6 with 25,000 kms on ODO.

Thanks,

Kindly help with a quote for the following:

Nissan Teana
2008
Single owner company registration MH 01
Comprehensive insurance,
full service history, no accidents
50,000 kms done

What is a good price for;
Ford Endeavor 2005 XLT 4X4.
Done 105000, with service history.
2nd Owner [within family].
Comp Insurance, tyres good for another 10-15 K.
Silver color, No dents at all only minor scratches, fiber cladding on the front bumper [below the grill] is cracked, no need to replace it, rather fix a fog lamps housing frame with to fog lamps, will look better.
Guys, what is it worth, or even if it is worth a buy.

Hi All,

What would be the expected price of Fiat Palio Stile 1.3 SDX 2008 make, 87000KM run, 2nd owner? It has Panasonic Music System as well as all 5 Alloy wheels?

Cheers
Vasanth

My friend was hunting for one in Kerala and we came across a range of 2.85 to 3.6 for MJDs for the 3 cars. Two were 2008 and the expensive one was 2009 I think. Buyer was not impressed with all the three and still looking for a true FIAT lover owned car.

Considering Bangalore tax situation, prices can be little more higher.

Hi, Thanks. I am actually looking a segment above than Wagon R/Santro. Honda city is definetly an option. Any other suggestion u have?

Hey Fellow Members,
I was looking for a SUV and one of my friend came across this Mitsubishi Pajero, make year 1990 being sold for 1.75L.
It's in Delhi so I haven't seen it in flesh but he said it's the top variant with sunroof.
Is it a good buy at this price, I assume spares would be hard to come by.
But at this price which looks good to me, is the vehicle worth it?

I would suggest you to look for better options. With those numbers it will surely have lot of stuff to be worried about. Good price for that should be around 3-3.5 Lakhs.

If you are a buyer target 6 Lakhs and if you are a seller target 6.5-7 lakhs:D

If you want to refurbish the old beauty then OK otherwise why to fall into that trunk and waste your money and peace?

Best,

I forgot to mention its in Bangalore, here the prices are unrealistic to say the least, even a used car dealer will offer him 4-4.5. This guy is expecting around 5 L.

Ahh! Bangy and it's bubbled used car market:Shockked:

If that is the case than I would strongly suggest you to stay away from the car. Is there any specific reason you want to buy endy?

Best,

Nothing special only that its the only 4x4 in my budget, moreover I am looking for a 4WD softroader not even a 4x4, XTrail is the nearest but even that is not available under 6 L here.

I never recommend buying old cars from a higher segment based solely on the fact that they are cheap. Only if you are an enthusiast and want to restore (ought to have the cash for that) Also considering the roof seems to be pretty badly dented, I would guess that its structural rigidity has been lost too and it wouldn't do as well as you may think in a collision.
