Is this a good price? |
I suppose that is a good price. My brother in law (saadubhai as called in slang) picked up 2012 December Dzire (may be Vdi no Abs) 1st owner similar kms for 380k from dealer in Mumbai just last week including servicing and half transfer cost. I have seen photographs and outer condition was good. He checked the car and there was no work.
One month back he missed one diesel Honda Amaze S 2013 around 65k km run single owner. owner did not budge below 385k. My BIO wanted at 370. Before he could up his offer to 375 the car was gone for 385k.
Just for information if someone else is also in the market for similar car.
Guys,
2008 Laura diesel with 100k running. Sunroof model for 2.5 lakhs. Worth buying?
How reliable is the manual diesel skoda?
Should I even bother having a look, as the car is far away. Should I pick this over a 2011 Civic SMT for about 3.7??

Pre 2010 Laura's have a 1.9PD engine unlike the more reliable and more common Octavia's 1.9Tdi. But these old skoda's, old VW Jetta's and Passat's are better bought from acquaintances or from people in the known circle.
The Civic price sounds a little too good to be true. But, if it is, it probably is a bumper offer(if the car is in good condition).
The civic is a discontinued car with very low mileage and poor ground clearance. Very few brave people consider buying the car. Also its not an easy car to drive in the city for novices.
To basically, high running. Civic is ruled out. Poor road conditions, civic is ruled out. Non urban areas, civic is ruled out.
Prospective buyers are people like me, who live in cities and need a weekend ride.

I have a friend who has put 70k ++ on the Civic since he got it and it already had around 50k on the clock at that time. Still going strong and parts can still be located / ordered.
I am thinking of selling my Alto K10 (December 2016) VXi, clocked around 6000 kms.
Accessories fitted :
-Fog Lamps
-Reverse Parking Camera (Nippon RPAS 80)
-Central Locking (NCS-509/1109)
Reason for selling: Would like to go for Tata Tiago AMT
Any guidance how much my Alto K10 can get in today's 2nd hand market??
What could be the approx price for my 2016 Duster RXZ AMT, which clocked 23K kms. Its pearl white in colour.
Plan is to go for a 6/7 seat vehicle and haven't finalised yet.
Thanks in advance.
Is XUV500 AT AWD June 2015 with 59000 on odo for 14 lacs a good deal. What would be an ideal price for this model. Thanks.

Very high priced. Please ask the seller for invoice value, must’ve been around 18 lacs. Which means the depreciation is not considered properly. Secondly, see if the battery, tyres, clutch, timing belt replacement status. These things put together, if not replaced already, are straightaway going to cost around 1.5 to 2.00 lacs. Lastly, try to find out on portals for an idea of the price range of similar specimen.
Friends,
Only my colleague wants to sell his Opel Corsa 1.4 GSI 2005 model which has approximately ~33K kms in ODO. Black color with beige interiors. Insurance paid till April 2019. Car is well maintained and good condition in Bangalore. How much price he can expect in used car market? Please advise. Thanks for your help!

Guys looking out for good deals on pre-worshipped cars - call up friends working with Airtel. Yes, Airtel.
Apparently, there has been a sudden change in their HR policy from a car hire (employee purchases a car in a spouse's / friends name who gets the tax free money) to a car lease (tie up with a third party vendor who has refused to purchase pre owned cars on lease).
Consequently, a lot of people have no choice but to sell their current cars and buy new ones on lease. The depreciation hit they take is lesser compared to the tax savings. These include people who bought their cars as recently as last month.
I personally know of a Feb 2018 Elantra on sale. This person knows a couple of 2018 Endeavours on sale and the list goes on....

Is this any particular city or across the country. Also, could it be a very limited phenomenon??
