Thanks for the pics, GTO..the second half looks out of sync, kind of like a mix of ritz an dzire. Nissan needs to price this one correctly and not goof up like they did with the micra DCI.

Thanks for the pics GTO
Car looks long and resembles some of Teana character. But looking at the size of the car I suspect it would be in D-segment (I may be wrong as well)

India is hot for all automobile manufacturers now, and C segment getting hotter still.
Any idea what price range will they fit it in. I mean any car segment, pricing still seems to drive the senses in India. Looks are subjective so not much comments, but kinda looks good to me.
GTO, Any spec details of the Indian version?
Given the steady success of Micra, Nissan really seems to be going head on into the Indian market. Carlos Ghosn surely knows the Indian market after a failure called Renault-Mahindra alliance.

OT: GTO, ever thought that we sell almost 1 Lac cars in India every month, in comparison, whats the numbers in Europe etc. Just trying to imagine how companies there make profit if they sell less.

Looks are typical Japs. But overall it looks better than the Current Verna. Hope Nissan price it right.

They already got the teana (altima in US) in accord territory. It seems this car will be launched to fight it out with civic / corolla - should be somewhere near the size of sentra.

I thought more in the City/Vento territory (only has 1.5 ltr engine under the hood)..

Nissan is another company that has the same face for all its cars or tries to, just like VW does. The side profile of this resembles the Altima, looks like a shrunk Altima.

Got some more pictures from Nihon Cars - Start Page ******

Seems like there is adequate leg loom but less head room

Rear side profile looks a bit DZire'ish. And looks very under-tyre'd in that pic.

Typical Nissan styling. You can see some character of Altima, Teana and Maxima.
Looks much better than Verna deformed.
My friend drives Sunny in UK.

Rear seat inclination looks great, should feel comfortable but read head room could be issue in India especially for the individuals with height around 5'11" and beyond :)

Not bad at all ! Wheels in the side profile look photoshopped , looks like a 14 incher to the size of the car and therefore it looks odd. A 16 incher would make it look complete . Any photo-shop experts out there?

They should price the car competitively or Toyota will have them. The good thing is they already have the Diesel instead of ETIOS which will take time to get one. The bad news is that ETIOS already has 15000 bookings. Are they targeting the Fiesta and above segment or the lower Dzire/Manza/Etios one. It is high time Fiesta is brought down to the Dzire price levels like the Ikon was done. This will make room for the New Fiesta at 8 lacs - 10 lacs segment. Desi's will surely be yelling away - yeh to Dzire ki copy hai, same copy kiya hai kya fayada and all - so irritating :)

Sunny is no Etios.
Sunny = Corolla = Lancer = Mazda 3 = Civic. Thats the segment in Middle East. All used also as delivery cars! Add more Gizmos, flashy looks, and aggressive Indian marketing, these take different segments here in India.!
