We talk SUV and no Land Rover in the list???? Impossible!
So here's to the list: RANGE ROVER EVOQUE and LAND ROVER DISCOVERY
perhaps the intent was a bit different - also the pricing levels which I had tried to define as between 6 lacs and 20 lacs approx. which is why my original list was mostly cross-overs and smallish SUV's.

I wan't a Ford Edge and a Ford Explorer, The Edge is really really awesome when i drove it in the US and the new explorer (which i did not drive, but drove the older gen) looks really awesome and both of them are also not too huge for India.
The SX4 AWD/Fiat Cedici AWD, in many ways, would be perfect for India.
A small car with high-GC, coupled with AWD to tackle the nasty lunar surface we call roads, decent space for 5 adults and a decent boot too. Not to mention Fiat's fantastic MJD motors. What a hoot this car would be.
One very small "firangi" SUV is already being sold: Mitsubishi Outlander. I think it is of the same size as a RAV4. Would love to see RAV4 on our roads. But they will probably price it in the CRV, Outlander range.

That reminds me of one more model from the Mitsu stable. A small cross-over called the Mitsubishi ASX - will be in the lines of the Yeti.
The
Bowler Nemesis
A 4 ltr supercharged V8 in a race spec off road chasis, the recipe could not be better.
- Now of all this list, which one you think have a serious chance of hitting the Indian shores?
- Few of them like the Duster have already been announced. How about others?
- Some fall in the category of so obvious to have it in India, but then not there yet!
- Some would be a sure no.

Fiat Fremont, is nothing but a rebadged "Dodge Journey".
I wish Fiat introduce "
Jeep Wrangler" 4 door from the Chrysler stable in India. If Tata-Fiat could bring this at a reasonable price range (18-20L), it will be a big success and will change the fate of Fiat in India drastically. Please Fiat, please.

Another good vehicle with lot of potential in India is Nissan Rogue. It is cheaper than Murano but looks better.

KIA Sportage
Daihatsu Terios 1.5ltr Grade long wheelbase
KIA sOUL
Nissan qashqai
the small Jimny will satisfy my needs!clap:
diesel or petrol, dont mind any option, till its a JIMNY!
"my Flying Jimny"
Great list!
But I would love to see a few others as well:
-Jeep Wrangler 2dr/4dr
-Jeep Patriot
-Jeep Cherokee (also called Liberty in the US)
-Ford Ranger double cab pickup
-Toyota Hilux range of pickup trucks
-Dodge Ram
-Ford Escape (the hybrid looks mean, while delivering great mpg)
I would love to see the Chevrolet Tahoe, its very spacious, luxurious and surprisingly nimble to drive!
Suzuki Jimny and Toyota RAV are my favourite SUVs that i would like to see India.
If imnot wrong,MUL will introduce Jimny very shortly in India.
