Fiesta 1.6sxi deliveries

Guys, have any of you booked an SXI with ABS? If so, can you please share your experience in terms of delivery? What was the promised delivery and have they been able to stick to it? What colour have you chosen?

I'm asking b'cos we booked a Panther Black SXI with ABS in December, were initially told 3 weeks, now its close to a month and I was told yesterday that there is no possibility of Panther Black with ABS being available before the last week of this month.

Anyone in a similar position? Remember, SXI with ABS please, the others are available

Hey suman,
we booked a Fiesta 1.4 TDCi. The delivery period for the car is between 7 - 1 month. The ABS version was somewhere in Feb end - March for the diesel.
ope this helps.
I am saying 7days - 1 month for the fiesta 1.4 TDCi because the last time i checked it was 7 - 10 days wheras when i checked 3 days ago it was Jan end.

Thanks Lambo, sounds like they are actually way behind with the ABS cars. We've decided to change to Silver as ONE solitary silver ABS SXI has left the plant last week and should be here in a day or two.

Family thought silver looked better (and I guess its easier to maintain), you've booked silver as well haven't you!

Duratec is petrol and Duratorq is diesel. Duratec should be almost off the shelf
but here the discussion is around Duratorq.

I dont think there would be any delays with deliveries of the Duratecs'.
Hormaz a member here had gotten his new 1.4 Duratec within a week or so.
